Well, the Gold Medal Clinics are over for another year and I must say I was impressed this time by the level of concetration of the swimmers (and the parents were ok too!), many of whom attended all three days. In between my lectures, I managed to look in on some of the pool sessions and it was amazing how Bill and his assistant coaches were able to give individual feedback to every swimmer on every drill! The improvements in technique throughout each session were fantastic - now begins the work of ingraining those skills to make them become your dominant response (remember that?)
As always there was a reserve list for the starts and turns day with people texting me on the day and turning up to see if there were any last minute cancellations!
So just to say thank you to all the swimmers who took part and to their parents who brought them along - hope to see you in the future!
