SPORT
PSYCHOLOGY

Success in sport is not a matter of chance. It involves a conscious effort requiring both knowledge and commitment. While physical, technical, and strategic components are essential, so is the development of an optimal mental state for performance. Coaches and athletes agree on this point.
But they typically just say things like "have a positive mental attitude, focus, have some heart, stay relaxed, etc." Beyond that, little attention is devoted to the subject. And that's mainly because the vital relationship between the mind and body has not been fully appreciated or understood.

CLUB
WORKSHOPS

Workshops can be specifically designed for individual clubs and typically cover such areas as: motivation, concentration/focus, awareness, confidence, self-discipline, Intensity, Composure, Perspective, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Life Skills, and enhancing the enjoyment of sport!

Mental Conditioning workshops are run by highly trained applied Sport Psychologists with expertise in the areas of mental conditioning, education, and counselling. They have extensive experience of working with coaches, parents, and individual swimmers.
